This book is my first attempt at writing a Romantic Novel. I have tried to endow the characters with brains as well as a modicum of realism. 

The first half of the novel is devoted to family and friendship with a mystery thrown into the mix. The pace hots up in the second half of the story where it morphs into a romantic adventure instead.

My wife wasn't overly impressed that the girl/boy interaction had been reduced. But ironically, her choice of reading material has now become "mysteries" with a sprinkling of romance.

Ho Hum.
