Perspiring.
Now here is an interesting fact. I'm regularly using an AI website to create my images. (Non-living creators cannot claim copyright usage) So their lifeless creations are all mine to do with what I desire.
"Nice," I sense you mumbling. "How much does it cost, then? I bet it's costly?"
Nope, it costs a big fat zero! Well, I have to be honest, that is right up my street. Some would accuse me of being parsimonious.
My only reply is why spend if it is also free?
Anyway, it would appear that the snowflake brigade will make sure that your imagination will not be as free as the product if the current trend of censorship is any indication of the way things are progressing.
How did I come to this conclusion? I inputted the directions for the AI to work its magic, to produce a picture with a sweaty man's face, suitable for the subtitle of this page. I waited for two seconds before the AI spat out a status message on the screen.
I expected to see it give me the glorious comic message of "Computer says no." But no, it said.
Generation Failed due to NSFW content.
I looked for an explanation of the unknown acronym. (You may have seen it before - But, as a naive sixty-seven-year-old, it hadn't infringed on my recognition of cool things to remember.) If like me you wanted an explanation it is described as:
What does NSFW content include?
Abbreviation for Not Safe For Work: used when sharing internet material that should only be looked at in private because it contains some things, for example, pictures of naked people, that could be offensive. IMHO Should stand for Not Safe For Wimps instead...
Now, we are being told that using AI will eventually be a way of life. But being informed of this debatable assertion has already caused my freedom of speech threat meter, to bleep very loudly. How broad are the filters being used?
In case you are left wondering how I got the picture you can observe above. Simple, I transposed sweaty for perspiring...
